Hey friends! I finally had time to play with the Katy Perry polish, so I wanted to post some swatches of what the colors look like on the nail, as well as under normal, at-home, low lighting. Here are the four colors on the nail:
The two glitter-y polishes, OPI Last Friday Night (blue) and OPI Teenage Dream (light blue) take several coats to get the results posted on our swatches from yesterday. The results in the pictures above were two coats; full coverage would take at least three and perhaps four. Perhaps the most interesting about these colors in the variety of glitter included in the polish. Large flecks alongside more subtle shimmer makes a beautiful effect.
My favorite: The One That Got Away. This probably does not surprise you, based on my love for vampy colors, burgandies and shimmer. Really, how could I not love this color?
That being said, I was surprised how much I liked it. More than a burgundy, OPI The One That Got Away is really a fuschia, way more pink than burgundy, featuring a rosy shimmer and nice, even undertones. Really beautiful.
Let us know what you’re loving from the collection. We’d love to hear about it : )

Ok, so I’m a little late for swatch week (my bad), but here are swatches of the OPI Swiss Collection. These are absolutely gorgeous and incredibly unique. Turquoise, teal, golds, blues, reds of every shade- it’s difficult not to find something for everyone in OPI’s newest Fall collection.
The best news? YOU CAN ORDER THEM TODAY! We’re selling pre-orders here!
Without further ado:
OPI Cuckoo For This Color- absolutely stellar. A green shimmer that’s gorgeous in the light, with a blue base that makes it almost turquoise, but more cool green.
OPI Ski Till We Drop (whose beautiful luminosity is stolen by our rainy day photo) is a smoky warm blue cream. Dark, with cool grey and an itty bit of green undertones. A full blue that is so different from anything anyone’s done this season.
OPI The Color to Watch is actual an opal-y lavender color that is shimmery (not actually opalescent in finish) and very chic.
OPI Yodel Me On My Cell is a brighter blue than Ski Till We Drop. I’d almost classify it as a “bright” color. It’s shimmery, but a clearer blue, with less musky colors and a purer base.
All in all, we can’t even tell you how excited we are. Contact us with any questions about expected delivery, but make sure and place an order today to reserve your polish!

Day three of our Swatch week features Zoya’s Wonderful collection, their newest fall collection released alongside Wicked, and available at Beauty of a Site for purchase- even right now!
Both of the collections play with dark and light, offering one sparkly (Wicked) and one creme (Wonderful) collection for your enjoyment. Play with these bold shades!
||Shawn is a bright myrtyle green, even brighter than our picture gives it credit. The color is even a little murky; more than just a simple green.
|Cola is a very warm brown creme, more red than purple. It truly is the color of creamy Colas. A beautiful color against any skin tone!
|Kristi is a bright, classic, pure red, truly crimson. Warm with orange undertones, this is the perfect pair-with-anything attention-getting red.
|Burke, unfortunately, isn’t showing up in our picture as well as we’d hope. It’s an almost red-berry shade, described by Zoya as a “sienna red” creme.
|Stacy, (again, no justice given) is an almost purple / burgundy. I sort of love the color. Not bright enough to be berry, but definitely in the purple family, without being dark. Pretty!
|Kelly is so so so beautiful. When applied, it’s almost a purple-y grey color. With several coats, it’s steel blue nature shows through. Absolutely beautiful.
I’ve included one of Zoya’s promotional pictures of the collection below to help offset some of our lighting issues, so that the true colors show through a little more. The collection is beautiful, and I highly suggest putting it on your have-to-have list. Better yet, order it today and get it even before your local beauty store. It’s gorgeous!
